Seminar - Ziel

The official CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) course (Exam FC0-U61) provides students with the basic IT skills and concepts necessary to recognize and explain the fundamentals of data processing, IT infrastructure, software development, and database usage. In addition, students will acquire the basic skills and information needed to set up, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on the hardware and software components of a personal computer. Hardware and software components of a basic personal computer workstation and basic wireless devices. Students will also learn to implement basic security measures and apply basic computer and user support practices, as well as prepare candidates for the CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) certification exam.

  • Identify security issues affecting the use of computers and networks
  • Set up a computer workstation running Windows and use basic software applications
  • Understand the functions and types of devices used within a computer system
  • Apply basic computer maintenance and support principles
  • Configure computers and mobile devices to connect to home networks and to the internet
